About Rachel Elizabeth
Hi, I’m Rachel, a freelance artist and graduate of Leeds University, where I earned a BA (Hons) degree in Fine Art combined studies Photography. For over 20 years, I’ve worked as a freelance artist, taking on both large and small-scale art commissions, residential and commercial murals, and exploring a wide range of mediums – from acrylic and oil painting to metal, masonry, ink, watercolour, and screen printing. My work spans life drawing, portraits of pets and wildlife, and commissions that bring client ideas to life. I also continue to explore my passion for screen printing.

As an artist, I love the creative process and the journey from idea to final artwork. I believe in art as a form of therapy, not just in the act of creating but in the finished piece as well. I’m constantly seeking to push the boundaries of my skill set, learn new techniques, and take on fresh, exciting projects.

About My Mini Shedio
After leaving university and having two children, I founded My Mini Shedio. The only chance I had to pursue my art was in my garden shed – a space that became much more than just a shed. It was my creative sanctuary, a place where I could experiment with art materials and let my imagination run wild. Every time I stepped foot inside, my heart would sing. There are materials everywhere, and it’s a beautiful art-filled chaos that has fuelled my passion and creativity ever since.
